The chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), M. Jagadesh Kumar, stated that a Ph.D. is not mandatory for hiring assistant professors in central universities. Speaking at the inauguration of the newly constructed UGC-HRDC building on the Osmania University (OU) campus, Kumar added that a qualification in the Commission’s National Eligibility Test (NET) would be sufficient for it, reported Telangana Today.

The OJEE chairman S K Chand said “Candidates can download their admit cards from the OJEE website with effect from June 27. Only one month is left for the entrance examination, so I advise the students to prepare well for the test,”. 

The exam scheduled has been announced and OJEE 2022 be conducted from July 4 to July 8. Special OJEE admit cards will likely be released in the first week of September this year.
